Delete your CalBud AI account
You can delete your account and everything in it from inside the app, in about ten seconds. Here is exactly how, and exactly what goes.
From inside the app
- Open CalBud AI and sign in.
- Go to the Profile tab.
- Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete account.
- Confirm. Your account and data are removed immediately — there is no waiting period and no way to undo it.
If you can't sign in
Email support@emberdevstudios.com from the address on the account and ask us to delete it. We verify ownership, delete the account within 30 days, and email you when it is done. You can also use the support form.
What gets deleted
- Your account and sign-in credentials
- Your profile and health inputs — age, sex, height, weight, body fat, activity level and goals
- Every meal, food, water, weight and glucose entry you logged
- Meal photos you captured or uploaded
- Your posts, comments and memberships in Groups
- Your streak, titles, referral code and any bonus days
What we keep, and for how long
Billing records. Purchases are processed by Apple and Google, not by us. We keep the minimum transaction records we are required to hold for tax and accounting — typically seven years — and they contain no health or meal data.
Backups. Deleted data can persist in encrypted database backups for up to 30 days before those backups roll off. It is not accessible in the app or restored to your account.
Your subscription. Deleting your account does not cancel it — a store subscription belongs to your Apple or Google account. Cancel it in Google Play Store → Menu → Subscriptions (Android) or Settings → your name → Subscriptions (iOS), otherwise it keeps renewing.
